Attend with baby or toddler (not limited by age of baby, or toddler!). Singing, rhyming and lots of practice signing! Location A: Varsity Community Centre - Vista Room (large, open, carpeted room that is easily accessible, with natural lighting, & breast-feeding friendly atmosphere!) Varsity Community Centre: 4303 Varsity Drive NW, Calgary, AB Location B: Dalhousie Community Centre Registration Workshop Fee: $35 per family (incl. GST). Fee is "per family" (& not per person). Early bird rate - $30 per family. Must register 8 days before Workshop. Ph: 403-990-4908 Workshop fee includes: * detailed handouts including digital photos of how to form the signs; * list of ASL vocabulary taught; approx. 35 signs taught * 2 songs to sign to - with your baby; * list of recommended books & websites; * tips on how to use signing throughout the day & much more! * workshop is 1-1/2 hours long (90 minutes) Set-of-4 Baby Can Sign classes - Registration Fee: $70 per family (incl. GST). Fee is "per family" (& not per person). Early bird rate - $65 per family. Must register 8 days before first class. Ph: 403-990-4908 Set-of-4 classes registration fee includes: * detailed handouts including digital photos of how to form the signs; * list of ASL vocabulary taught; 80 or more ASL signs taught and well-practiced throughout the 4 weeks of instruction.** This is the primary benefit of taking weekly classes over the workshop; regular meeting with other moms who share similar parenting styles (plus, of course extra sign vocabulary) * Lots of songs to sign to - with your baby; * list of recommended books & websites; * tips on how to use signing throughout the day & much more *Note: grandparents, spouses, partners, nannies and other care-givers are welcome to attend (no extra charge).
